The Mount Hermon Baptist Church is, essentially, a relevant Baptist Communion with a holistic approach to ministry. We are a sharing, caring, and loving Church, giving an encouraging Christian witness in the beauty of holiness.

What is Our Vision

The Vision of Mount Hermon is to be a multi-generational, multi-cultural serving-hearted community on assignment to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) of Christ by loving God and others as we love ourselves.

What are Our Values

We value our perception of the Lord because we view Jesus Christ as being “High and lifted up . . . ..” (Isaiah 6:1)

We value the Word of Lord because it gives us illumination and instruction as to how we should live our lives in the sight of God and how we should treat one another. (Psalm 119:105)

We value people because souls are important and belong to God.  (Ezekiel 18:4)

We value prayer because praying is a way to communicate with the Lord.  (Philippians 4:6)

We value praise and worship because it is what the Lord deserves. (Psalm 109:30; 150:1; Psalm 96:9; 99:9)

We value fellowshipping with Believers because through coming together with others in the Body of Christ we receive what we need.  (Ephesians 4:16; Hebrews 10:25)

We value generosity because God, in His Word (Luke 6:38), told us to give and we follow His example as He showed His generosity to us by giving us His Son, Jesus Christ, and it was through that sacrificial giving that we who except Him live an abundant life now and in eternity. (John3:16)
